Chivalrous Knight, owned by artist; Breyer Mini Whinny drafter to a bay sabino Clydesdale stallion. I gave this guy feathers and a new tail, then painted him to a portrait of Chivalry's Sir Orrick, a multiple-registered Clydesdale, foundation Drum Horse, pinto draft horse and sanctioned Baroque stallion. Sir Orrick's webpage can be found here and many thanks go out to his owner, Katrina Miller of Wolf Manor Estate, for generously allowing me to paint a look-alike of her gorgeous stallion! SS Kiran, owned by artist; unknown artist resin to a bay splash white Marwari mare. I didn't add anything to this beautiful resin, simply prepped her and painted her with pastels and acrylics to this stunning color. She's got tons of shading, pink skin in all the right places, striped hooves and multi-colored eyes. I love this resin -she's got such an inquisitive look on her face! Other Side Front View Headshot

SS Debonaire Dragondance, owned by artist; Breyer Stablemate Morgan stallion to a Hackney Pony with resculpted mane/tail, carved ears/hooves, nose wrinkles, chestnuts, corrected "plumbing", resculpted hooves, all legs moved slightly and/or straightened, epoxy shoes/painted nailheads, sand covered base, repainted. Sojourner's Champagne Fyre, owned by artist; Breyer Stablemate Icelandic Pony, repaint only to a Shetland pony

Sheza Calico Lady, owned by Holly Carson; Breyer Mini Whinny Quarter Horse to a bay sabino/overo Paint mare. I removed all her seams, carved out both her raised hooves and her ears, then painted her with acrylics to a rich "calico" paint. Her nose is pinked, both eyes are blue, all her markings are mapped and she's got painted on "shoes".

SS Noteworthy, owned by artist; Breyer Mini Whinny Trotting Drafter to a buckskin sabino Gypsy Vanner stallion. I added to his tail and gave him a tiny base on his right fore since he was very tippy. He was painted with pastels and acrylics for details and turned out a rich, warm shade of buckskin with blue eyes. Yes, he has multi-colored eyes, pinking and all those other fun details! Awestruck Starlet, owned by Holly Evans; Breyer SM standing Saddlebred to a silver bay sabino National Show Horse mare. I built up her hooves, carved the bottoms and added shoes, then blacked them over for a proper "show" look. Another pic Third Pic Fourth Pic

SS Isolde Briette, owned by artist; Breyer Stablemate drafter, repaint only to a dark brown sabino Clydesdale.

SS Aleshanee, owned by artist; Peter Stone Chips Arabian stallion to a black chestnut sabino Arabian mare. I removed the stallion parts and repainted her with a combination of acrylics and pastels. Second pic Third Pic Fourth Pic Headshot Second Headshot

SS Angel of Music, owned by artist; Creata MicroMini Percheron to a blue roan sabino British Drum Horse mare. I added feathering to her legs, then used acrylics to paint her base coat and markings. Then I went back over her with pastels to make the roaning. Second Picture Third Picture Fourth Picture

SS Opera Phantom, owned by artist; Breyer SM Saddlebred to a black chestnut sabino Saddlebred stallion. I added stallion anatomy, added to his tail, enhanced his musculature, built up his front hooves with pads and shoes, carved his hind hooves and added shoes. I used both acrylics and pastels to give his coat reddish highlights, which unfortunately don't show up as well in the pictures. His mane and tail are also much lighter than they appear. There are 3 unusual things about his markings, can you find them all? Second Picture Third Picture Headshot Shoe/Hoof

SS Tennessee Gold Dust, owned by artist; Creata MicroMini Tennessee Walker stallion to a sooty buckskin sabino Tennessee Walker mare. She was the first horse I've ever painted completely in pastels and I'm quite happy with the results. Her markings, eyes and braids were painted with acrylics, but everything else is pastels! I put pads on her front hooves and changed her to a mare. Second pic Third pic Fourth pic Fifth pic

SS Phoenix Afire, owned by artist; Creata jumper to a grulla overo American WB mare. Phoenix was painted primarily in pastels, then I added her markings and eyes with acrylics. Second pic Third Pic Fourth Pic

Pickett's Charge, owned by Ruth Wagner; Grand Champion MicroMini Arabian to bay sabino part-Arabian gelding. He was painted in acrylics to a rich, deep blood bay and has realistically painted eyes/striped hooves. Second Pic

SS Khlassic Kharisma, owned by artist; Stone Critters Arabian to a dapple rose gray Arabian stallion. I made some tiny modifications to his face and flank areas and added stallion parts, then repainted him to a dark, nicely dappled rose gray sabino with blue eyes. Laci Ladi, owned by unknown; Breyer Classic Ruffian to a dark bay sabino mare. I repositioned her legs slightly, gave her a mohair mane/tail, added metal shoes and painted her to this flashy sabino pattern. If you know who owns her now, I'd love to hear about it!

SS Word of Honor, owned by unknown; Peter Stone Chips Stock horse to a bay overo Paint stallion. He was mainly painted in acrylics, with pasteled shadings. He's got one blue eye and one brown, both painted realistically and a pinked muzzle. Second pic Third Picture Fourth Picture Headshot Second Headshot

Windsong, owned by Diana Parker; Grand Champion MicroMini to a buckskin sabino grade foal. I didn't add anything here, simply repainted her with acrylics and pastels to a flashy sabino with roaning. Second pic Size Reference (shown with stablemate foal)

Sunrise, owned by unknown; Breyer SM Thoroughbred etched to a chestnut frame overo Paint gelding. I etched him fully and added the pattern, but otherwise left him alone. If you know who owns him now, I'd love to get him back!
